I have many many hours, he's fully geared, and I almost never drop a rotation or combo, he's lacking trust, the amount of effort to be average is insane compared to Rackan jump attack lulz.

He reaches dmg cap insanely easy so his overall dps is pretty low and whenever someone uses his SBA and the boss starts moving around it gets quite annoying to play with him.

I'm playing with this character right now and it's incredibly fun and powerful. I think it might be because I'm in the early stages of the game. You are more experienced,which character would you recommend for dps?

Sieg is tons of fun, it's enough to play him until endgame, it's just a bit sad that he doesn't perform as well a Naru, Eugen, Percival for example.
My point is that for the amount of effort you have to put to be good with him, I'm never getting MVP'd when there are Rackam that spam jump attack ahah feelsbad.

tbh all characters are fun to play.... and depends if u wanna be mvp or not, Lo for exp can be easily be mvp with 16m+ honor

Tbf, Rackam/Ferry jump memes are kinda bugs/oversights and not a good metric, the same with skill canceling BS percival/Vas can pull

Sieg have party ulility, Rac is not. Beside, what the point in comparison damage between them, as Racham only do such damage because this attack is just one big bug. Its dealing 3 times more hits then its should and have unreasonable damage cap. I have no doubt about this getting fix. So fear not, this broken ♥♥♥♥ won't work soon.

either that or nerf the obviously overpowered characters to be more in line with the low tiers because having such insane damage difference between characters is bad

really discouraging to play what I find fun when i know I could grind 3 times faster with the characters that deal 3 times more damage than me while also having to put in less effort

Nah, he is good. You just need to get a Terminus weapon. Everything feels weak before you have a Terminus weapon. Once you get that, he is a beast. Still even early game and story mode he doesn't feel weak at all.

I suggest you go watch some Youtube guides on how to use him. He is a beast. Getting MVP here and there with a half upgraded Terminus weapon most of the time.

he's not a ''beast'' you can compare the dmg of characters at the training dummy and see that he deals very little in comparison

every character is good because the game is very easy but it's still a grinding game so characters with much higher dps will grind much faster which feels like bad design, they need to balance it better (not saying that all characters should deal the same damage but a character dealing literally triple my damage with no effort is dumb and too much)

also mvp in this game is irrelevant because it counts things like buffs which are often irrelevant. I keep spamming the drain+debuff immunity buff in the bahamut fights and get mvp even though that buff doesn't help at all there lmao

Perhaps you guys are right. I have only been playing less than half the character rooster. Still I have been out performing and even compete with MVP against players in repeated quests. Sometimes I am MVP, sometimes the other guy which I do repeated mission with gets it.

I don't really mind a buff. It does require a little more effort to play Siegfried to get the same kind of dps other characters do. But the timed combos are precisely the reason he is so fun to play.
