The black dragon isn't bad. The worst part about them is the stupid slow down puke they put all over the place and the fact that no one wants to take the time to throw a slow down orb at the dragon.
to these people claiming they have "all the terminus weapons" ... you really farmed the last boss ~200 times, legitly, assuming a 10% droprate? On top of grinding out the supporting materials and then grinding out all the mats needed to upgrade them?
Given a fast 5 minute queue+kill that's 16.6 hours, and getting a bad group is a 10+ minute kill if you're lucky, i'd say average is closer to 7 minutes.
In a perfectly coordinated non-cheating group the fastest i've seen is around 3.5 minutes.
how were your sigils looking? transwonder legitly or save exploit?
At my pace, I get a terminus every 1.5 hours, have nowhere near ideal sigils, etc.
people minmaxing for training dummy dps in critical repeatedly, needing to run away from the bosses, getting full status effect, getting pulled around are basically checked in proud, but they saw a "top dps" youtube video stacking tyranny and running around at 30k hps.
So yeah, mag+gallanza, dragons, obviously the hardest if that's what your party is mostly consisting of.
Unfortunately the last fight is one of the easiest if not the easiest in proud so the "dps spam" gets justified.
but having 99999 hps, guts/autorevive/hoarder/crabvestment/firm stance and negating appropriate statuses plus stun = it's all easy and you don't lose much time on the fight. obviously that's an extreme so you can reduce the defenses (and need to 45k cap for terminus).
But it's funny to see so many dps wondering why terminus has such a silly restriction of 45k hps... it's meant to reduce your sustain intentionally while increasing damage.
2. Ice + Wind Dragon (Ice dragon with it's Glaciate and constant jumping and Wind with it's persistent wind cyclone)
3. Black Dragon (Big a.s.s. black hole and constantly farts Slow debuff)
The amount of people I see get one-tapped in Proud is insane. Slot some defensive utility, dammit...Yes, you should reach Damage Cap asap, because you need to deal some good damage, and it is quite important. But you don't need optimal damage. If you can run full glass canon without bringing the group down, then more power to you, you are awesome. But if you have a character with a hard CC (Glaciate, Paralyze, Slow,...), a high Stun attack, or heck even defensive utility (Def Up, Damage Cut, Atk Down,...), consider running it.
Elemental War and Supplemental Damage are not needed. They are cherry on the top when you've built your character and slowly work for max trait efficiency. Build balance, then slowly transition toward more offense, not the other way around.
honestly the only reason I'm going all out on dmg with the terminus weapon is because i know the devs will add new content that will most likely be tankier + grinding is way faster when you deal good damage
That said I am good at every fight besides the whitewyrm cause I only fought him twice so I'm not one of the guys that stay dead the whole fight
It wasn't that difficult per se, it was just more challenging than most fights in my experience, especially with two elemental dragons in it.
