Wish it was a class system not a “character system”

Looks like a tight game but ultimately a pass for me

Just can’t get into the idea of switching characters to play a different class. Don’t know why Japanese devs are so obsessed with giant character roster games

Who wants to go from playing a giant sythe wielding dark knight to a 3ft tall ferry girl just to have some gameplay variety ?

I’m just sharing my thoughts as someone who happened on the steam store page
Interested in a new MH like game with end game progression (also really like it’s not an always online live service ♥♥♥♥ show) but just turned off by the character system

This game would honestly be perfect if it was class based

There's a chance they will do it for Capitan since it's only one who can have classes in gatcha. But still it not something to be expected here.

Dark Souls is the literal opposite of what I’m describing here.
I personally hate the “play the way you wanna play” model of RPG classes (Skyrim, Dark Souls, Cyberpunk, etc)

Give me 4-5 distinct classes any day over “1,000,000+ different combinations”

Well, this isn't that kind of game, and we were always told that this would be a character based game and not class based.
People really get disappointed by their own expectations a lot lately.

Also the personality the characters ooze is amazing, and you get to experience different personalities as well as different toolkit when you switch characters. They're pretty much all very well written rofl.

Vane be like "woohoo ♥ over here gorgeous" and barking like a hound when he bursts.

Game is great, strongly recommend you give it a shot. :D

Strong agree, this is a matter of expectations, not a matter of the game being poorly designed. Look at the quote I linked, not only OP has undue expectations, he also copy pastes them on others.
