If You Main VANE Please Understand Just How OP Rampart Is (Shield Bubble)

At this point its annoyance to see people in PROUD using Vane as main & not have Rampart active during a high level AOE attack that makes you sweat powerade.

P.S. a little buggy when you enter the bubble (when you are not the Vane using it and you enter the AoE) since sometimes you still get hit and take damage despite you having the invulnerability buff. (the attack will knock you out though so you are still dead)

Might be caused by a latency issue.

Basically, don't just run in and think "Yay, I'm safe". Hold that guard button for at least a full second inside the bubble before you start celebrating.

Most attacks if you know how to dodge them aren't even that bad but its certainly nice for group play esp if you arent sure people know how to dodge it

Best to have the skill more often than not. I've met a lot of players who can't dodge simple stuff. Sure your DPS "constantly" drop a little (for not having another attack) but its much better than the occasional quest fail because your teammates are trash.

As not a vane player it always feels high risk when mechanics start the first time because I have no idea if they are standing some place dangerous about to rampart or they have no idea what they are doing and if I run over to them we will just both die in the middle of the mechanic. This has led me to just doing the mechanics normally the first time at least.

I think an autochat saying you are about to rampart could help tremendously.

I have the "Over here" message on my message wheel specifically for that purpose xD
