Link often at 100% without being able to use it
Am I missing something?...
My link is so often at 100% , but because not everyone is attacking I cannot activate link time.

Thats the thing right? Only activates if all 4 characters do the link attack?
My NPC companions just wont often it seems..

Yeah, link time should trigger if you're at 100% and everyone performs a link attack.

you can link attack when you deplete the enemy's stun gauge, then you get the prompt to press B, so build some more stun if you want more opportunites. But yes with 100% link, then get a stun, then everyone link attack = link time.

NPC companions are too far away, attacking someone else, or incapacitated in some way (frozen, dead, etc)

Sometimes link attacks makes the progress sit at around 97% so you have to wait for another stun to perform link time. The trick is to use the blue potion once since it fills up the link time progress by 3%.

Nah this 100% is happening to me as well. All allies show as doing the link attack, gauge was at 100% before the link attack, yet no link time triggered. Definitely seems to be bugged or there seems to be a condition that prevents it from triggering that they don't tell us about.

It literally changes the UI to show you the party when you have 100% Link. This lets you see who failed to Link. I regularly see who is screwing up Link Time in co-op and you can check which NPC is failing too because they won't light up. Then you figure out why they didn't link.

I know that very well, it still doesn't matter sometimes and still doesn't trigger even though everyone is shown as having done the link attack.

I haven't seen this issue happening at all. I'm not saying it doesn't, but I've yet to witness it. Regardless, though, that isn't the problem the OP is asking, because the OP can clearly see some of his party members are not activating the link.

It might be that they're out of range, or otherwise unable to act. I was recently in a mission where I failed to link attack 3 times in a row because each time it happened, I was hit by entomb. Just horrible luck sometimes.
