Ye, I have met some players who use it as soon as they get it, when remaining 2 players are below 70% charge.

Then again when they are above 70%, I just assume they got lucky and have War Elemental Sigil

Well sure, if you use Uplift, Nimble Onslaught etc

Then again playing against Duo Boss, your team can still get clapped by other boss while going ham with SBA.


Maybe you are right, I should instantly use SBA when I hit 100%, while other players are below 50% ty

It makes sense to use it if others are at 70-80%....you should read how SBA works....

Only if related person is at 100% is this good advice.

Other times, it would be better to straight up start a burst to get...

1) Breathing room.
2) 100% link (in the event that you just finished one of those link burst things)
3) SBA gauge (your teammates get a good decent of approx 5-10% charge iirc, upon the completion of one SBA, on top of the amount they get for hitting stuff while it launches. Allowing you to start chains early)

That wasn't the point, I know you gain 10% SBA when someone else uses their SBA.
My point was, they dont wait for character with stronger element to use SBA first in relation to Original Post.

And yes, there isn't just 1 correct way to use SBA.

I know it's hard to watch the dmg numbers but with maxed dps builds... I do more dmg just attacking than doing sba.

Sba is just a tool to get longer boss downtime or for skipping certain mechanics. Not really for dmg itself. The more players finally learn that the better.

So many people spam their sba at proto 50% treshold while I hold it until 16-20% to skip the dps check at the end. Would be better if one other person would hold it for that too. But that rarely happens.

"correct way" I mean....if you wanna be THAT sweaty sure, but honestly the game is easy as it is on Proud, so its not like it will kill you.
If high damage number sis what gets you going then you always have the option of AI solo.
Unless you go in with a premade party of friends with comms, you will never have it perfect in a random session.
What is more important here is people playing teh characters they like and ejoy playing over element.

I've been 20% ahead and rare 30% ahead at times with no nimble ondlaught or uplift. Sometimes you just match with people that dont read forums or watch youtube videos and don't know about dmg cap or stunning/linking. You are definitely not going to wait for others to catch up.

It becomes so chaotic if you wait for the right person to start an SBA. The enemy goes into overdrive mode and unleashes his full power, just SBA it yourself so that he goes down instead of wasting time.

Yes it does, infact its even better because it also works on any thing that has no weakness too. You can easily see it on sir barrold dummy who has no weakness. The damage numbers won't be gold but you still get the bonus.
