MHW and MHR do have open level structures, though, I have yet to see it at all in this game.
Base game is stale.
Ah yes and it's totally wasted since you are running the same exact way every single time to the monster.
Fighting odo? Always at the same area in rotten vale. Fighting Legiana ? Always at the same area. I know they move but being realistic here .. everyone just runs to the monster and yolo it away at the same spot.
The maps in monster hunter might aswell be just corridors. Because they are. The open structure is just an illusion to make you think there is some ecosystem going on. But there isn't.
I love monster hunter but playing this game I appreciate that it's staight to the point. Gameplay against the hordes or bosses.
Without roaming around collecting stuff that you get for free anyway later.
