Report a translation problem
A player shouldn't have to "practice" for something other than the actual timing of attacks. It's needlessly intrusive to gameplay. With Seig it can reset & throw off your entire rhythm.
I'd be okay with a 1/4 of the screen or maybe the upper left 1/4 being used to show X player/character used X ability but keep the battle constant.
And then there's what OP mentioned.

Point is it's not great design to have characters reliant on perfect timing then having interruptions that throw that timing off artificially. It's something a player shouldn't have to account for or get used to.
