Optimization Trick for Steam Deck Users (Nearly Consistent 40FPS Cap and 16:10 support using GBFRelinkFix)
So a WSGF community member by the name of Lyall recently released a patch for Granblue Fantasy Relink, which adds arbitrary resolution and aspect ratio support (including ultrawide resolutions or anything narrower than 16:9), raises the framerate cap to 240FPS, alongside some other tweaks, but I personally also found this mod useful for forcing the game to run at a lower resolution than it's 5 limited hardcoded resolution options, so it can run better.

From my experience with playing the game stock (without mods), on the Steam Deck, there's quite a few areas in the game that dips well below 30FPS, and it has a hard time locking at 40FPS. But using this mod with a 960x600 resolution, not only makes it possible to cap the game at 40FPS (Some areas of the game even run at 60FPS), but makes it possible to remove the black bars with the top and bottom portion of the screen having additional vertical space. The reason I suggest 960x600 is because games running at 960x540 usually have better performance while still having legible text, and the additional 60 pixels on the vertical axis brings it to the 16:10 aspect ratio that the Steam Deck uses.

There's some install and configuration instructions listed in the GitHub releases section, make sure to grab the GBFRelinkFix zip file, and extract the contents of the file in your game folder, adjust the resolution with the included ini file, and then add 'WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command' to the launch parameters for the game.
