While I don't have a problem with gacha games (I find that many people I've met who do are, by their own admission, people who lack the self-control needed to not dump loads of money into them), I am glad this isn't one. I can't say how long this game will last, but they are adding new content, both paid and free. And they've told us some of what the next two content drops will include.
March, ver. 1.1.0 : new free quest boss Lucilius, and paid content
April, ver. 1.2.0 : new free playable characters Seofon and Tweyen, and "more" (not told what that is), and paid content
May, ver. 1.3.0 : still unannounced content
I am assuming most paid content will be cosmetics, as that's what is currently available in the DLC, and that is also how Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is doing things. That being said, the game seems to have done pretty well in sales, so they will probably give us quite a few more updates down the road, and they could add larger expansions if they wanted to.
F2P basically make games bored thanks.
They keep update, but bored.
If you love F2P games means you are a bored player.
Who knows, maybe that's next.
But I also agree with the current mass as well. I want a full game with start to finish and watch the credits scroll. I'll even buy the DLC if I have to depending on how entertaining the game is and if the extra challenge was worth it.
I say it all the time with Fate. I would love for a 2024 FGO compared to the old cellphone version. I know the old version is alive and well but I want a fresh new coat of paint and it's not MIhoyo. I don't even know how FGO Arcade is doing anymore but it can't be doing that amazing if it's in the shadows or whatever.
