Siegfried timing
Just invited Sieg to the party, i want to figure out how this timing thing works, i cant see any reference from when the timing is ready to use, nothing glows, the names in the skills bar dont change, how can i know the timing? He seems really cool if played right.:momomf:

He is really cool when you get his timing right, there really is no indication, you just need to pause your attack button just for a little bit, if you get the timing right, he glows red signifying that you got the timing right.

Just about feeling. Also if you managed to get the timing right on his last combo, if you use his Lunge just when he lands on the ground, you can make him do an extra powerful timing attack.

As a general ruile, the timing is when the sword hits the enemy. last one is a bit trickier, but you'll get it

I click right as the swing makes the orange slash effect

press the next attack when the one youre currently throwing is connecting
if you get a red flash kind of thing youre doing it right

Helped a lot, thank you guys. Just find out that it may be a little complicated in some fights because of the visual polution this game has.

I thought so too until I got the hang of it through muscle memory and also there is an audio queue when you got the timing right as well, so it is good to listen out for that.

If I can't see due to the lightshow then I go off of the vibration of the controller letting me know the hit connected. If my character is obstructed I also look at the blue silhouette of him.

Zetas timing window is really really small you gotta be quick if you wanna do that loop

Silly as it sounds, smack around the training dummy for 10 min. Like really wail of the fker. The more...complex(?) characters have aspects to their attacks that are very much a "feeling" based timing, or there will be subtle visual queues that you may not see in the middle of a chaotic fight.

I feel like im still unable to get the timing right for mouse and keyboard, is there any other tips for getting it? like a specific rhythm or any other cues, been practising on the dummy and could probably only get 2/4 of the perfect continuations and even with interweaving lunge , that will only set u at a max of 4/5 of the perfect hit comboes. Any other visual guides anyone can provide?

The moment u hear hit connect press again - thats pretty much it. Later muscle memory will take care of it

the problem with me 's not how to timing.. it's .... i can't see anything when in combat.. too many effects, numbers... on screen, i can timing ez if i solo no AI or when test with dummy :steamfacepalm:
I personally think Siegfried is underrated but when you get his timing down? hes pretty OP and can contend with the likes of Percival

He deals like 30% the DPS of Percival when played to perfection AFAIK.
