PSA - To Those with matchmaking Troubles.

Please set your Steam download location to Tokyo, the majority of this games fan base is in Japan, I did it and have not had any wait time for matchmaking, so if we all just set it for there, we can all have 1 central location for everyone to do their jank.

The game probably prioritises other regions before East Asia like every other game. It's rare to be matched with Japanese players in any game if you're NA/EU. Why would you want to be matched with JP with P2P connection. We already have enough toddlers here crying about booty shorts and English lingo in a translated game. We don't need more ignorant people crying about the online sucking because they're disconnecting from every session due to playing with JP players

Well, that is a flat out lie. Unless you're in Asia or something, I know for a fact your game was perma desync'd and the bosses were stuttering for half a second occasionally at best.

TY mate, I can confirm, I switched to Tokyo Download Region in Steam after being on NA and it taking about 5 tries to find a party for Manic Vulkan Bolla. After I switched to Tokyo I got a nearly instant queue and spent the 30 mins farming with geared lvl 100s. I also know I matched with folks from outside NA as their names in-game showed up as [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Boss died in like 1 min 30s.

Region lock is definitely NOT fixed.

I'd suggest New York instead of Tokio, for me theere's a huge latency diff.

I alredy try, i am in EU and 2 of my friends in Asia
when they make a public session via search, i dont find thier lobby
when i change steam download setting to ASIA. i can see thier lobby.
and matchmaking i meet a player name boxboxboxbox everywhere in ASIA
and when i back to EU. i rarely meet a player name with boxboxboxbox

you don't have redownload or restart your steam either. Just change the download region and hit restart later. The region change is immediate ingame.

Now that I changed the download region to Tokyo I have almost instant quick matches. It took me like 5 minutes to find something from the UK before. Thanks for the tip.
