yes, i know the other alternative is buy a PC
So it is very possible that the game doesn't need AVX2, but we can't be fully sure. Though I will admit it is a likely probability that the game doesn't need it; I can't see Cypress actually writing assembly code level optimization in the game.
Still, CPU's without AVX2 support are 10+ years old now. At some point, we need to accept that AVX2 is going to be required rather than make it out to be some boogeyman.
-Uncharted. After literally thousand of people including people on Twitter, Youtubers, Streamers and oficial gaming sites they decided to add another exe that didn't requiered the AX2 instruction set.
-Star Ocean 6. Square Enix DID not cared about it and released the game in GeForce Now. After a bit of tweaking they discovered the game didn't ask for AVX2 but there was a F16C line script that the compile shader windows needed to do so there was no way to launch the game without SDK.
-Granblue Fantasy Relink. Is new so we don't know
Your best bet is to actually ask to the support in Cygames oficial site if they gonna add support to 2nd/3rd gen intel CPU or AMD equivalent but.... it might takes months if not years and is better for you to actually buy a new PC because more games will come with this and everyone who owns a 2nd/3rd gen intel cpu will get blocked out from playing.
STEAM or the publisher SHOULD add these things to the specs requirements of every game that need those instructions. They did it with a couples of games like Yakuza 0 for the AVX i went to check it out and they removed the avx description lol wtf. There are a good amount if not every new games except those 3 mentioned above that ask you a 6th gen i3 or a i5 9th gen as minimum and the game runs smooth as butter on a i5 2400.
Cinebench r15
zen2 AMD Ryzen 3 3200G 605
3rd gen Intel Core i7-4960X 1092

Don't post stuff like this man.. Your computer is 10+ generations behind, we are at Intel 14th gen, you dont even have 3rd gen? Its not the devs fault that you cant afford a proper gaming rig, go work and get off the forums
iunno if intel fixxed that somehow already x3.
for example: i was sitting for a looooooooooooooooong time on a nvidia GT 210. for those who dont know that gpu, it was a little powerhouse tho. it had only 512mb vram but damn played it some games like a champ ( i played the sims 4 with it!!!! XD only on 1024x768 and low graphics but it played the sims 4 at stable 25~30fps XXXDDDDD). THO!!! then came the day where games stopped to support DX10 and well ... that was the time to say goodbye to a gpu which impressed me many times of what she was capable to play.
now have i an AMD ryzen 5 2600x with an nvidia rtx 2060 super and 32GB of ram. you wont believe how different the PC world for me was 4 years ago when i got this new rig XD.
nowadays is this rig maybe just "standard" and something which atleast every mid gaming PC should have ... maybe a bit more powerfull cpu. but, the gpu will probably last for 5 more years before i struggle to play games like it was with the 210.
btw Advanced Vector Extensions is a nice thing.
