Ultrawide Tutorial
[UPDATED] Lyall made a real mod, way better than my method, forget my video, go download his mod

https://github.com/Lyall/GBFRelinkFix

I Managed to get the gaming running at ultrawide 32:9 using cheat engine

its a temporary solution until someone makes a actual mod

Made a cheap tutorial video
https://youtu.be/6_e8LAeGy40

basically, search for a float between 1.777776 and 1.777778
and replace all values for 2.37 (21:9) or 3.55 (32:9)

How do you make it so that the resolution you pick stretches? my PC will just give me black bars on the sides instead of stretching.

Too much Strech everywere :steamsad:
If you have a nvidia graphics card go into the nvidia control panel > Adjust desktop size and position change scaling mode to full screen.

You can change it in Nvidia control panel

this looks terrible
This only looks weird because you have it at 32:9 and we are viewing it in other resolutions right?

So its not super stretched wrong proportions for you or is it?

2:00 and onwards is how the game looks for him with this fix. the HUD is not fixed because that requires deeper coding, if im correct, im no expert. So thats what you will see on a 32:9. On a 21:9 the HUD is less stretched but still stretched, or it should be, I have not tried

All this Fix does is change the fov. I couldn't get my game to stretch to fullscreen no matter what without using lossless scaling with the game in widowed mode. The only real problem is the ghosting issues.

I have been passively researching this and found how to fit to screen correctly, but the UI elements go off screen and menus are all messed up.

If you want to try you can add the address manually as it is static.

The address: (granblue_fantasy_relink.exe+594E01C) contains the screen resolution width.
Add it as an array of bytes, hexadecimal, with length of 6.
It will contain width and height. (70 0D 00 00 A0 05) is 3440 x 1440

Apply the fix in the video and this one as well.

I manged to get it working best by switching my monitor to 2560x1440(fullscreen scaling/gpu) and using the method from the OP's video(because the FOV is wrong for ultrawide).

If I keep my monitor in 3440x1440 the screen doesn't scale

You can use reshade to stretch it out without changing you monitors resolution.

You can use reshade to stretch it, but reshade doesn't fix the FOV, so everything still looks stretched
