Only for early game quests. It won't carry you through the entire game.

I asked the question as soon as it hit the release time, so the store page wasn't updated, only the option to buy the game.

special edition is a joke. don't get it. just early game boosts which will probably end up detracting from your enjoyment of the early game if you were to use them. Even if you want the color palettes, you can just buy them as a separate DLC if you really want them.
meanwhile, console gets a cosmetic outfit for gran/djeeta for their special edition :maple2:

don't worry, modders will give it to us later, lol

Guilty Gear Strive did the same stupid **** by trying to add specific colors to the console version, but we just modded them into the PC version anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The base game + the Special Edition Upgrade pack is like $15 cheaper than the special edition? What the hell lol

I personally want to support open world fantasy rpgs, so Special edition for me

Bit confused about that too. Does buying the Standard Edition + the DLC mean you won't get the other items? Just the colour palettes and the sword? I'm thinking that might be the case and why there's a price difference.

Still deciding between the Standard and Special Edition too. I get off work in an hour and am very excited to play. :steamhappy:
