People keep making threads without putting this information in the OP, leaving it buried in arguments and making it difficult to find, while others downplay how much was censored. So here:

These are the same designs except the originals are less covered up and the Relink versions are more covered up. Granblue Versus and Rising had the same censored costumes, except those games also had the original, uncensored costumes included, for free, so the players could use them if they so wished. As far as I know, Relink does not provide the uncensored outfits at all. So yes, this is just plain censorship this time.
Relink has the same age ratings as the Versus games by the way, so no one gets to blame CERO or PEGI or anyone else for this one.

This isn't necessarily everything that was censored, as the edits should make clear, these are just things that we definitely know are censored so far. On the other hand, Lyria and some town NPCs are not censored and the player can look up their skirts to see underwear at any time.

They didn't think it looked better, the execs made them do it against their will for foreign markets and unfortunately they weren't allowed to put the uncensored version in Relink for whatever reason.

Uhh... Because they're not in Versus uncensored. The team had to fight the ratings people tooth and nail to come up with a compromise to include the uncensored outfits, which you can only get by beating the RPG mode of the game. By default, Metera and Zeta are censored. Versus has literally the same censored outfit for Zeta as Relink does.
Maybe instead of trying to debate me on something that is fact, confirmed by the development team themselves, you can do your own research.
You won't though, because you're desperately looking for a reason to hate this game and Cygames for some strange reason.

This isn't the proof you think it is, Djeeta's shorts start further up than that. Also I want you to know, because clearly you aren't a GBF player, that this outfit is Relink original. As in it was designed SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS GAME. Meaning the outfit was designed with the spats in mind. Take the L and move on.
Also "Right below her waist" so you don't know anatomy either. That also explains a lot.

That one is true. But the simple reason is that they didn't censor it because you can't look up its skirt.

now that im in the official art viewer for the characters, alot of the ones that were changed have clear differences to their in game models... and even then some of the artwork looks like it had a bit of a different design and was touched up later aswell, but that one is a bit harder to prove without seeing the original files for the artwork

If you were gonna censor the 3d models you could have atleast been a proper piece of scum and changed the artwork so people wouldn't notice so easily what has happened here.

We should not need modders to make the game have the intended designs and correct translations through the entire game. That should be something the game comes packaged as, especially seeing as this game charges you money to play it.
