Realistically you will probably get 18-20 hours out of the story from what I heard and then a hundred if not hundreds of hours from the quest mode.
noone should buy this for the story. its all about the grind

Not any real spoilers in the video but you can just listen to it if you don’t wanna see anything
So from his playthrough it took about 15h with side quest to finish story, but main challenge only starts after story is done. And i fully expect Devs to continue support in the future by adding raids like Super (ultimate) Bahamut, Six dragons and things like Azure/Golden Knight.
I think the comparaison to MH is a big mistake, they are not the same type of game. It's a lot closer to a White Knight Chronicles than anything else.
Guess il be getting Persona 3 Reload
It's closer to Monster Hunter in terms of gameplay loop than WKC. Combat wise, it's not comparable to either
