PC performance
"Granblue Fantasy: Relink is best played on PC, despite some quirks" by RPG Site[www.rpgsite.net]

Long story short, there are very few graphics options but at least it doesn't seem too demanding.

The author tested the game on three different configurations: On his RTX 4090 desktop he got 120fps at 4K on ultra settings, on his 6800M laptop he got around 80fps at 1440p high settings, and on his Steam Deck he got solid 30fps at standard settings even during demanding late game boss fights.

How do you have the game? Did you get a review copy or something?

I didn't write this, and yes they got a review copy.

"On an RTX 4070 at the highest settings in 1440p, the game reached 120 fps with no noticeable drops even in intense combat segments. There’s no DLSS or upscaling of any kind and graphics options are very limited, so you will need some power in your rig to run the game properly.

On Steam Deck, the game would struggle to reach 60 in any scenario, so I capped that at 30 and cranked the graphics to Ultra as that seemed to make no difference in performance or battery life. The device will still get pretty hot and only last about an hour, but it’s a great option to do a few quests when you’re away from the PC." - https://gamingtrend.com/feature/reviews/granblue-fantasy-relink-review-final-hunter-fantasy/

No but you have the "mouse" icon next to your name that says you already have the game, when there are no pre orders yet

Nuuvem is a Latam online retailer officially partnered with Cygames. They've been taking preorders for a while and sent out the keys yesterday. I could only activate it though. I'll only be able to download and play it tomorrow.

I had no idea that mouse icon stood for that, thanks. Also damn bro, Nioh 2 is my favourite game too, so sad that nothing else they came out with after even came close to it. I'm hoping this at least come with a similar experience!

If you rest the mouse cursor on the icon will show a message about it

Well I am using a 2070. I am okay to play 60fps in 1080p more than that is just a plus for me.

I just want to know how it'll run on a GTX 1070 and a I7 5820k 1080p. I could still run some of the recent modern games fine like Resident Evil 4 Remake but Grandblue is newer and more open so not sure on that.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink at Steam Deck HQ[steamdeckhq.com]

The report here says that, even with the 30fps cap, raising the settings above standard will lead to deeper and more frequent framerate drops on the Steam Deck.

On the other hand, if you combine the 30fps cap with the standard graphics preset and a TDP limit of 10 then at least you'll get around 3h of battery life instead of just 1h.

Same. I'm holding out hope that Rise of the Ronin is alright and they bring it to PC 6 months to a year after Playstation, like they did with the Nioh games. I get the impression that's the game they've been putting most of their effort in these past few years, while they did the other projects to stay afloat.

Odd, couldn't find the game there

Well, I'll be honest, I don't own or know much about Steam Decks but seeing a 4070 running at the 120 FPS cap at 1440p max settings without drops was what satisfied me about the performance on PC, as it means quite a few systems should be able to pull the standard 1080p/60 without issues.

And fingers crossed for Rise of Ronin too, I hope them going back to Japan means they bring back the Nioh Playstyle, I'm all for innovation but I don't think Final Fantasy and Wo Long innovated in a positive way.

Here's the store page

I don't know what it's like for people in other regions, but it might be the case that you get automatically redirected elsewhere.

If that's the case, here's a screenshot of the store page for reference https://i.imgur.com/dM24ezF.png
