it's like village in monster hunter games, purpose is just a introduction into the game
the real game starts in high difficulty hub quests
This is a lie. You will never ever have a level 1 character after hitting level 2. Do you want to know why?
All experience earned in story mode is globally shared even with characters not present in the active party. Characters you have not unlocked yet will be obtained at level 20 if you haven’t beaten the story and at level 45 after. You can’t replay story missions until you have beaten the story
So tell me where anyone can obtain a level 1 character
^This. Everything in the story is around level 100. Admittedly its still not that hard with a fully geared lv 100 party but its something. Also you get achievements and trophy for beating everything in Ultimate Difficulty (including useless talking sequence)
Then you get ANOTHER trophy for beating the whole thing TWICE (why? Just why?)
And one more for beating the final boss of the game solo (no party members), without using revive potions on said difficulty. (Also admittedly not that hard)
Ok that made me laugh, just imagining someone having a coffee and getting an achievement
