I probably should go ahead and buy a controller and a lead / wireless adapter to connect the controller to the pc, but I'd rather test the game on KB+M first to see how good or bad it is
This goes for the menus as well, scrolling with MMB should work if they did it right if not, minor but QoL goes a long way.
(Hope for Playstation Prompt when playing with 🙏)
This ^ And some developers (no idea about this title) do the job pretty well - e.g. Nioh, Nioh 2 and Wo Long let you disable forced camera focus under target lock. The freedom and precision you have then is second to none.
Besides kb/m has incomparably more keys/buttons, possible combinations (sadly it's rarely even an option, and again kudos to Team Ninja for allowing this mostly freely in their games) and so on. Unfortunately it requires devs that give a ♥♥♥♥ in the first place (very rare) and also players that have a brain (and willingness to customize everything, as defaults are usually catastrophic) in the second (also pretty rare).
Don't get me wrong, the game is great even with mnk, but not having a mouse cursor in game and being forced to navigate the menus with my keyboard is killing me, softly.
The camera of this game sucks for controller.
