Honestly its not THAT well optimized, but the guy said you should be able to run 1080p with the minimal specs. I'm guessing its really taxing on high settings?

The more you increase in resolution the less the CPU is important, and that rules is true for 99% of recent games.

If you play in 4k no need to have a great CPU (more for 1080 or 1440p if you are still in those rezs or doing heavy CPU tasks with some softwares but that's it.) , once you reach 4k it's like often 5% cpu 95% gpu wise : tldr my guess is you'll need a 4070 ti super or 4080 (super or not) , and amd gpu counterparts (16go vram minimum) for hoping playing it at stable 4k60fps ... we'll see.

4090 should fairly easily pass here, this card is still overkill as long there's no RT for most games, only C2077 with RT+ultra starts to shows her limits (barely 60ips)

But yeah for those level of graphics, it feels quite not well optimized... the fact even the ps5 is stuck @30fps in quality mode said a lot already.

Waiting wednesday to upgrade my 3070 with a 4080S at msrp or almost.

Could be tolerable (not ideal, but fine) if the game has FSR 2/DLSS, but knowing CyGames and their past releases on Steam, it probably won't have that.

I have a spare Viewsonic CRT monitor that I use for retro games and some indie games, and it's pretty sublime at 480p with the refresh rate set to 160Hz. Just make sure to disable FXAA/TAA in some games (and if possible, use MSAA), as post-processing doesn't work quite right at such low resolutions.

I couldn't use a CRT at anything below 120Hz though, because the strobing/flicker is obnoxious.

The game's "end game post content 100 hours" the developers brag about is a complete lie. Console players are leaking full game already on Twitch and YouTube streams, and the "post game content" is mostly copy pastes of story bosses with re-skins and more health, more damage. Completely lazy developers. Lolol...
