If you play in 4k no need to have a great CPU (more for 1080 or 1440p if you are still in those rezs or doing heavy CPU tasks with some softwares but that's it.) , once you reach 4k it's like often 5% cpu 95% gpu wise : tldr my guess is you'll need a 4070 ti super or 4080 (super or not) , and amd gpu counterparts (16go vram minimum) for hoping playing it at stable 4k60fps ... we'll see.
4090 should fairly easily pass here, this card is still overkill as long there's no RT for most games, only C2077 with RT+ultra starts to shows her limits (barely 60ips)
But yeah for those level of graphics, it feels quite not well optimized... the fact even the ps5 is stuck @30fps in quality mode said a lot already.
Waiting wednesday to upgrade my 3070 with a 4080S at msrp or almost.
This is the only and true way to enjoy video games.
