I'm VERY hesitant to buy since it doesn't have crossplay. A big part of the game are the quests and that's not going to matter without people to play them with.

Unfortunately some companies are still stuck in the past. Eventually cross-platform play will be universal.

99% sure reason for lack of crossplay is on Sony, per usual.
They did the same thing with MHW. Sony paid Capcom to disallow; crossplay & cross-saves in a misguided attempt to keep players in their ecosystem.

Are you for real? I doubt you'll have problems finding people. Grandblue fantasy is a well known IP and pretty sure many will be playing it
