Could have sworn Crossplay meant playing with people on other platforms
And Crossplatform was being able to do what crossplay does with additional features of continuing progress on any platform.
Whatever allows me to play with other platforms i suppose.
But ever since Epic/Microsoft stores terms changed around
GBVS runs on Arcsys' servers (hence why the load times are sh—, just like in all their games).
GB:R is unrelated to Arcsys, so it'll probably run on some in-house servers from Cygames. It's up to them whether they put the money to develop crossplay or not.
For someone who claims "no buy". You seem to hang around rather then moving in to a game that you do actually want to buy. Seems to me like you are gonna buy the game regardless.
Which means the best time to get it on Steam is probably day 1, because after 6 months the playerbase will probably have shrank significantly.
Knowing Cygames though, game's gonna be expensive.
