With that out of the way, it could either be something somewhat easy, or something painful. If the censorship is just a texture or has its own mesh it shouldn't be difficult to get rid of. But, if it's built from the ground up with the censorship intended it could potentially be a lot more work.
Still, that's just me speaking from my own experience. I'm just trying to put some perspective on how soon it could become available once released.
AFAIK, nothing. The game is the same as the Japanese version.
Note that some characters clothing are altered from their artwork from the browser / mobile game (Zeta and I think at least one other) to give them spats. However, both the Japanese and English versions have the same changes made.
That's censorship.
They do not want another GBFVR situation.
I'm asking for proof as well. All you'd need to do in order to fix the "censorship" is swap the models and since this thing is made in Unreal Engine that should be piss easy. Hell, Remnant 2 was a UE5 game and days after release there were already model-altering mods to remove the backpacks and retexture ♥♥♥♥ in that game. Much less would be required for UE4 games since there's already a ton of documentation for that engine.
If people were willing to make skirtless mods for GBFVS with its own custom engine people are going to be willing to model swap for a UE4/5 game. Though I get a feeling recolors and nude/skimpy mods will come first, they always tend to.
Do you ever stop to think when someone says something on Steam forums, it might be a lie?
If it's unreal engine then i guess it's just a matter of time.
It's a no-buy for me untill then.
That said mods are always a good thing, I hope they can be made for this game without any problems and turn Ghandagoza into Shrek.
