Difficulty
Does anyone have a good idea what moment to moment gameplay is like? Challenge level? I'm really curious about this game. I love the fighting game and want to try this out. I'm hoping there's either difficulty levels to select or that the main game itself presents a solid challenge.

We know that 1. for each character, you can go into an options menu and set abilities to automatically combo together upon one button press, or even activate without your input, so you can reduce the amount of button pressing or even just allow the computer to fight for you while you just move the thumbstick around, and 2. there are multiple difficulty tiers of quests, and 3. there is item level upgrading. So if you wanted a harder challenge you could try tackling higher difficulty tier quests with lower ilevel, or if you wanted an easier time then you could just grind up your ilevel doing relatively easy quests in your tier before going up.

It seems to be power level based instead of the classic difficulty setting, certain quest require a minimum power level to be able to be played (this can be skipped if played full solo or private with a friend according to the devs) and a recommended power level. Thats how quests are atleast, we dont know if the campaign has any difficulty selector or any type of game+ that increases the difficulty.

Moment to moment gameplay? Just watch a gameplay video, like this one:

There is no difficulty level everything is based around Ilvel, gearscore, or whatever else you want to call it.

It's more akin to Lost Ark's guardian raids. If you want to fight a boss you need the recommended Ilevel - fighting with less Ilevel is pointless since the boss becomes a dmg sponge, and fighting well above it, is also pointless because you one tap it.

I don't think it's for each character, it's a mode in the settings you can enable for ease of access, if you enable it it'll be for every character and only in story mode and certain early level quests. End game content that option won't be available
