Pros:
- Adds a fun logistics twist and skill tree to traditional tower defense.
- Ever-stronger waves force you to make risky expansions to keep up with your supplies.
- No micromanagement, just strategy.
- Played perfectly on Linux with Steam Play.
- Excellent game for the price.

Cons:
- Clearly a web game. Performance gets worse as your base grows, and the attack waves feel more and more like a slide show. There are options to disable effects and reduce lag, but the game is so minimalistic already that I didn't want even less to look at.
- The enemies get stronger and have new abilities, but there is no way for you to examine them, eg see their stats, abilities, name, etc.
- For a logistics-focused game, there are some severe shortcomings in the UI. For example, no way to tell how overloaded (or not) your transporters are. No way to tell which factory is supplying ammo for your weapons. Etc. You end up guessing at which upgrades are needed.
- Resource pathing is sometimes suboptimal, and you have no control over it. For example, I built parallel supply lines connecting two main areas of my base, but only one was ever used regardless of how choked the other path was.

Overall I recommend it for the unique blend of game elements, but the logistics flaws were a stumbling block and in the end I got tired of the performance issues. That said, I really enjoyed the core mechanics, so I probably will come back to this one occasionally.

While this is getting a thumbs up because I really enjoy these types of games and wish to see more of them, playing YORG.IO just made me miss Creeper World, which is a much better game.

A hugely enjoyable Tower Defense. Graphics and music are more than adequate.

I have played a number of titles of a similar premise - what sets this one apart is the speed of the action. You have a pause button to set up, but then the zombies are quickly at your door. If your setup is substandard, it does not take long to find out and start again (at least in the early stages).

Definitely a keeper.

On the surface it seems like a very simple game, but it kept me playing for much longer than I expected. Worth checking out.

It was a very Good Game in the first 2 hours, but it became a bit boring afterwards.

This is a great little game !

Very fun on EASY difficulty, and one can reach zombie wave 800 after a few days of playing. If this gets boring, which it does, then switch to HARD mode ! Get ready to be punished ! It is very difficult to get to wave 30 in this mode. For a fun treat, you can try out IMPOSSIBLE mode and learn the art of pausing the game every millisecond in order to plan the next strategy during the zombie invasions !

Resource gathering, expansion, and logistics is great in this game, and there is just enough detailed information to be meaningful while not being overly obtrusive.

The skill tree allows you to use accumulated points ( after defeating waves ) to research improvements for your base.

Eventually you will gain the ability to eliminate all transport logistic nodes, and switch to instant teleportation of all resources. This is great for streamlining things, and reduces lag, but it also removes the logistical challenge, which is a downside in my opinion.

A really great game, and I look forward to playing many many more hours to come.

This is currently on sale in the Steam store for $1.99 USD, so it is a no-brainer of a decision !

It's cheap and okay but quickly becomes pretty repetitive.
