Python Exceptions

I've recently tried to install the Thomas' War mod on steam. When I load it up, there is no interface, the civilopedia and options menu won't open, and I get a bunch of weird python exceptions. They all show up in separate windows.

Failed to load python module CvEventInterface

I have a feeling these are related to the interface missing. I would post in the original thread for the mod, but it is functionally dead, with the last post being from 2013. Any help in solving these errors would be appreciated.

I have the same problem¡ At this time I don´t have any idea what can I do. Did you find the problem?

I discovered that switching the Civ build to the beta fixed it.
