Earth Map?

I know there's a earth map in the game already and it's great but I find no matter what civilization i pick, i and all other civs spawn in australia. is there one that makes the spawns based on your civ (ex: America spawns at well, America. etc.)

Spawns are either entirely aleatory or pre-placed, there is no way to condition spawns in the vanilla game. "Earth 18 civs" might be what you're looking for. You'll spawn in a region historically tied to the civ you pick, but you may only chose civs that are part of the map's setup. Alternatively, try "Rhye's and Fall of Civilization". This mod is installed by default, so click "advanced", "mods" and then load it.

where can i find the Earth 18 civs map? that sounds like it'd be interesting. And I'll give Rhye's and Fall a try too! Thanks for the help

You have to click "play a scenario" or "custom scenario". You'll get multiple maps you can pick from, so simply chose the one you want.
