Game crashes when changing Resolution

This one and Warlords always crash when i change the Resolution, for default CIV IV it works, anyone knows a fix to this?

Also why is the Music so messed up? In CIV IV despite my Game being in German, the Audio is in English and it doesn't play any Music until i manually selected the Folder

The game doesn't seem to like the increased resolution with AntiAliasing, so turn the AA down to 0 when you change resolution and it should work.

No clue about the game.

It crashes when i change the AA too :/

I got it working by changing the resolution in smaller increments instead of changing it in one step to my full resolution. I don't remember whether I had to exit the game after each incremental step.

Ok i got it working now by actually starting a Game first and then going into the Option and changing the Resolution, no idea why it crashes when doing it in the main Screen
