Old fans can you help us? Fall From Heaven 2, do you know where the leader Avi's are and if you can replace them?

Going back for a bit of nostalgia, for an inch sadly just can't be scratched in modern civ or alternative clones, playing through the old FF2 scenarios, which are ridiculously hard. Want to read the lore and story again since I'm a bit older now and have a greater appreciation of the dark setting.

After that I plan to tinker around the Ashes of Erebus which is much more polished and fun to play. Seriously FF2 is great for the scenarios but some of the old gameplay, and lack of features is a real slog.

enough flavour text, I want to tinker around with some of the old leader art which, some still looks great today. Others could be replaced. But how easy is that to do? I tried looking myself for a folder with leader art but couldn't find one. Is this something like other games, e.g Tyranny where you can just drag and drop to replace the art? Or is it something that's going to be too difficult to do without modding it?
