I bought this bundle and installed "We The People" for Colonization, but am wondering if there are any mods for this one as well. Are there?

This mod is kicking my azzzzzz (also, am not the greatest, but I used to win on Prince easily). Went space race, didn't feel like conquering. Had Shaka and Catherine as psychos, alongside the lovable Suri, the psycho of psychos. Fast REXed, got 9 cities, then later made a 10th. Somehow kept it together, perhaps because only William was my next door neighbor, and was separated by oceans from Shaka and Cathy who was much further away. Greetings, generals! Recently I've realized how great civ4 is. But what I can't understand - how do siege works? Consider the following situation: The enemy city has 1 archer with 70% defence from the skills. I've took a stack of units (like, 12 archers, pikemen and axemen with "attack the city" bonuses). I've reduced the city defence bonus to 0 with catapults. Now, I tried to attack the city with this archer and this unit literally destroyed everyone... It doesn't even lose HP, it just winning every fig...

In another installation of mine I changed something based on some online instructions, which made I think the Manhattan project not researcable and thus while the rest of the game was not affected (other than space victory perhaps?), no players human or ai could build nukes. Not talking about a mod, just some change to a file. Unfortunately I no longer remember what that was as it was years ago and I can't find the info online any more. just vague suggestions or non helpful answers. Anyone can help me ...
