Take a deep breath before playing. There's some truly disturbing stuff in this game.
My therapist will need a therapist before I finish this game.
Please be sure to let us know what your favorite demon is.
Wanting to be successful is greed now? It isn't like they punched your grandmother for her social security check.
From the getgo, it was planned to release on consoles, but they ended up getting an adult rating and had to either tone it down to get a rating that could be released on the console, or leave it as is and have an extremely limited PC market only.
Anyone with half of a brain would have done the same exact thing they did.
They even had to fight with Steam to get the unrated version on here. This game literally could not have happened at all.
Totally butthurt, you got me so good. Let me tell you all about it. Just stating facts lol I actually don't really like this game that much. I don't really have the stomach for it, to be honest. I just like facts.
This whole thing started before Steam started being more accepting of adult rated content. Even now, it isn't exactly straight forward in letting adult content, and each entry is reviewed on a per basis.
How exactly would they have sold more if it was limited to PC only? In what world does limiting the ability to access make more sales? Not making sense there.
Getting so upset over a little discussion, that you state you're going to ignore me? Oh, wow. And I'm supposed to be the one that is butthurt?
We can have a discussion... kinda what these discussion boards are for.
Lust for Darkness released on Switch and Nintendo ended up pulling it. And it is nowhere near as graphic as Agony. Now there is an edited version called Dawn Edition. So, yeah, they had to censor it for consoles. No surprise. They got lucky with Steam because it is more open, but again, Agony is WAY more graphic, and Steam fought with them about it being released on the platform. If they would not have budged, it would have ended up being released without Steam, thus lowering their sales drastically.
I don't think you understand what integrity or greed really is... the dev needs to make money, they don't work for free. Forget about the hardships that the dev had to overcome, and whine about getting a game a few months later than expected. The dev wants to make money. That is the prime directive for ANY company. They have to make money to make ends meet.
Would you work for partial pay? No? Then you're greedy, man! /s
This discussion is over, because you are unwilling to discuss.
Have a good day.
Not a fanboy, as I don't even like the game that much. Played a staggering 30 minutes of Agony LOL and I don't have a PS4 or Xbox.
Yeah... totally all about my beloved consoles that I don't have.
Instead of a discussion, you'd rather use insults to drive your point. This is sad. You clearly have some troubles or something going on in your life that you need to project it onto strangers on the internet.
I honestly feel bad for you and hope you feel better soon. Prayers sent your way, friend.
