Have you used the NO-CD patch?
The other password are private League servers. You can easily join up at Race To Play. Here is thier current GTR2 schedule .
http://www.race2play.com/sim/show/7
If you click the event you can see what files are necessary to race with that League.
If you want to just hop online P&G3 has the most open servers as it is the latest and best MOD. Here is the link and the install is easier than most to get going. It also includes all necessary patches as part of the install.

If you want give that MOD a shot if you dont want to find a League to run with. It usually is the most populated also.
i'll try later and let you know thanks for now!
Thanks again for all your and the other racers comments.
I ended up buying a retail version on Ebay last Friday. When I get it up and running I will down load Power and Glory 3. Get tip, I can't wait.

GTR 2 - FIA GT Racing Game was not originally made for use with Windows Vista or Windows 7, but by following theese few simple guidelines, you should be ensured a smooth installation even on these operating systems.
- Make sure your DirectX is up to date (Check your version here: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/directx/ )
- Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date. (Check with your graphics card supplier)
- Install the game by starting the installer as an administrator
(Right click the [installer filename].exe and select "run as administrator")
- Install the game outside of any Windows folder (ex: "Programme files" folder). For example, using a "Games" directory in C:\ can solve a lot of potential issues.
- Always run the shortcuts (all of them) as an administrator
(Right click, and select "Run as Administrator")
- Run the game .exe in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode
(Right click, go to properties and then click the tab "Compatibility". Select the desired compatibility mode and validate your changes)
Some other tips is to patch the game executable with this.

If your running a Logitech wheel get the profiler here
http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/latest_soft_main.htm
Set the profiler for 900 degree rotation and check online for the other settings, or ask me for mine. This will get your wheel to 900 degrees instead of the default 270. The P&G3 Mod drives best and is designed for 900 degrees of wheel rotation. Once set up simply launch the profiler and let it run in then launch the game and it will use the profiler settings.
For H pattern shifters to assign the gears or make any other custom assignments always make sure the gear is in neutral before you begin.... example assign 1st gear move from N to 1st,,,,, 2nd fron N to 2nd and so forth. Otherwise the game will read what ever position the gear is in other than Neutral and assing the gear to where it happens to be at that time. Example you have left the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in 3rd and want to assign the clutch, it will think you want the clutch to be 3rd gear because it see's that button as pressed.
For Logitech FFB in the game be sure REVERSE FFB IS CHECKED or it will feel backwards like driving on a large pipe.
Feel free to contact me here or over at nogrip racing under the same user name for any other help.
I am looking for the solution to add my steam GTR2 game to the logitech profiler.
All the information I have found has been unsuccesful.
I have a profile for iRacing and Power and Glory 3 and, of course I cant find a path to GTR2 that the logitech profiler will accept.
If someone could copy and post the exact path that works it would be great.
Thanks.
If not you change between the two from within the game itself. If so do you have a desktop short cut?
Right click shortcut, choose show file location, and aplication. The search bar will show you where the install is and then you would just write it down, and then find it with the Profiler. I dont launch with the Profiler, as I use the same settings for all the Sims that I use.
I have desktop shortcuts for both.
The PnG3 install is a breeze to work with.
The Stesm GTR2 install is,well, not easy to work with regarding the logitech profiler.
The reason I need the logitech profiler is for degrees of wheel rotation.
I cannot seem to adjust this ingame for PnG3 or GTR2.
The only path in the GTR2 shortcut properties is this URL and logitech profiler wont accept it as a path.
steam://rungameid/8790
Or you can look for the GTR2 in Drive where installed.....program files x86.....Steamapps.....common.....open GTR2 and click the application file.
Im not sure how it will like the Steam thing though.
I have the retail version up and running. Working thru the driver training right now.
Would it be possible to contact me off the forum?
