Runtime Error [FIX] for Modern Rigs and Old Games

This might be an old topic, but this will bump it for newcomers who have just discovered this little racing gem and have had some trouble running it on a modern 64-bit OS like Windows 10 etc..

I noticed I started to get Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Errors after just a few minutes of playing. I can't remember if it was happening while playing the base GTR 2 game, but it was definitely happening while playing the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED mod called POWER & GLORY 3.2. You get the hint right? I cry tears of joy when I play that mod.

Anyway, I did some research for a fix and, for whatever reason, I completely forgot about this memory patch that I once used years ago. It is an absolute must have for older titles that don't run well on 64-bit systems. Of course, this may not be your permanent fix, as you must ensure you have the 1.1 patch and the NO CD patch installed, but I bet this will help those who have given up on an old sim that is right up there with Grand Prix Legends, at least when the Power & Glory mod is installed.

Just point it towards the .exe file that starts GTR2 or P&G mod and thats it. Worked like a charm for me and I hope this works for you. Cold beers and calm winds.

best is to go to racedepartment and install the anniversary edition with p & w mod.
all is included there, runs all fine. do read properly how to in stall this !!
