Why is the online multiplayer server so dead? I'm seriously the only one who is online...

You have to remember, GTR2 is 10yrs old. An most people have moved on to next gen sims like asseto cords and raceroom racing. You will need to join some simracing clubs like nogrip and unitedracers league to find some people in GTR2.
Or race in single player mode. Since it still has the best ai of any racing sim to date.

hierfür musst du jeweils über ein Autoupdater-Tool ein paar Mods runterladen, aber danach kannst online jede Menge Spaß haben. Dort in den Foren wird dir weitergeholfen.

Ah, that's true! I've already signed up for the URL, but I'm not racing yet. And that's also true! Even Forza's Drivatars can't beat that xD

@XSR_gbriden: I will look into that. I got into PC sims a bit late and I love how my humble hardware handles the older games (Especially GTR 2 at 64MB of ded vram). East Coast is often the best I can get. Hopefully the series is compatible with Cali end shift times + Bay Area traffic!! ;-)
