Shenmue III
Shenmue 4 - would you back another Kickstarter?
I for one am really enjoying playing Shenmue 3 on my PS4 and will definitively be buying the game again on Steam next year.

Dispite the Kickstarter debacle I would back another in order to continue the Epic adventure.

Would you?

Would you need some preconditions such as a cast iron guarantee of a Steam version, no Deep Silver involvement etc...

"For as long as there are those who wish to see Shenmue live on, I will never give up on my own personal journey to complete its story. As with Shenmue 3, the Shenmue story is with you. I sincerely hope that, together, we can continue to spin the tale of Ryo and his adventures in Shenmue 4."

WarStalkeR, nobody cares
Seeing how you reply, you obvious do care...

Why do you think your prediction has any value in the first place?
Because internet doesn't forget, nor it forgives. Have you ever heard "fool me once - shame on you, fool me twice - shame on me" phrase? Its enough for betrayal to happen one time and people will remember it forever. Ys betrayed people once with EGS exclusive bait and switch. Majority of people except few blind fools won't give Ys another chance.

No matter what we say, in the end we know that everyone (who played the game) will go support to Shenmue IV kickstarter. Nothing else matters. We can talk nonsense about rushing the game ending (like that's the most important thing), epic deals, "scams" and so on... but the most important thing is to keep the game moving forward.
Peak consumer behaviour.

Wait and see, after this fraud I'll never kickstart anything again
Defenders of online digital stores, sacrificing games for the sake of their favourite launchers are basically irrelevant.

Let's talk more about the game, because after all, that's what we're here for.

Boycotting a company is not irrelevant at all.
It's the only way for us as consumers, to protest.

Also the game sucks but that's another can of worms.

Right until a new "brand" will become your enemy, and you will forget about all the griveances about the previous brand. I'm old enough to remember all those "activists" boycotting Steam because "you don't own your games Reeee, they spy on you Reeee, why does steam collect and send data somewhere it is definitely FBI, CIA, FSB, KGB MI6 etc etc spying on my playing "Big tits anime girl 69" Reee, Steam is goverment malware Reeee, if Steam dies you lose all your games Reee" sounds familiar? Nowadays all thsoe activists eat ♥♥♥♥ on steam and happy.

Actually I don't and I never had problems with Steam or Valve, or GoG or Uplay for what matters.

And i'm not talking about you (as individual), and you as a general group of people who keep screaming about boycotting works. No it doesn't. And most boycotters are hypocrites.

a) exception out of rules. CoD got boycotted mutliple times, still selling like hot cakes. Only lately finally slowly losing prominance.
b) wasn't bud light wasn't feeling well before the debacle? It just finished it off.

Even if it was true, what else can we do to protest? Nothing.
We do what we can to send a message.

Look at stock prices. Tells everything.
