Reimu having Genji gave me hope for more PC-98 characters like Shinki or Sariel...

But if the devs really said that then i should reconsider why i have this game installed.

If there would be any hope, I would say Yumemi or Shinki as well.

Oh, devs that listen!

Sariel, Shinki and Yumemi are already mentioned, lets throw Rika/Evil Eye Sigma and Gengetsu to have one character of each PC98 game, that would be more than enough, and more than what the 90% of the Touhou games do.

I will keep the game waiting!

All of them would be nice really, Rika-Shinki, though you can probably ignore the ones in Touhou 1.
I'd make a team outta pc98 characters, they usually only make it into the touhou strategy fangames or touhoumon

It's only the matter of how their abilities is going to function in this game.

The concept of the spellcards they possess or abilities they naturally have/ essentially acquired may pose some difficulty to implement in the game.

But anything's possible.

Shinki was the insporation for Byakuren most elaborated spell card, honestly in that area the only extra you have to do for PC-98 characters is giving them a cool spell card name.
