Thank you for all the queer characters
As title says, really. Same goes for Even the ocean, for that matter. It really is just nice to see a game where near every named character is queer.

Had to clean up the replies here to stay on topic! Thank you for playing and glad you appreciated it!

Sorry to set this off, it comes with the territory on steam. It does mean a lot to see a game like this.
I'm sorry bigots are everywhere on this platform.

lol i honestly dont notice this stuff at all. i think theres probably something wrong with me. in my head its like someone making some kind of big deal about someone elses hair color. im not going to like someone any less because their hair is blue. 'oh thats nice, mine is black' is about as deep as that topic gets in my head.

i was far more concerned about stepping on someones head to reach an area. nova is a bit like a cat i suppose. they dont seem to notice other peoples personal space, or maybe they do and just like you too much to care.

It's relatively easy to miss (aside of well, Nova having two mothers) so that's completely reasonable. Representation is important all the same and it's so nice to see.

Off the top of my head:

Nova's two mothers
One of the houses in Geof's world says he has a husband
Nora in the desert NPC world has a girlfriend
Nova can have a date with a female yolkfolk
Drem Kinako is likely trans - you can see top surgery scars on his chest in one of the concept art pieces.
Maybe the couple in east outer sands? Not sure eithers gender was given.

I have a feeling there were more, but those are the ones I remembered.

we all have to deal with these mean people. its a bit of an oversimplification to say its mean vs nice, but its also true. the mean people act that way towards everyone. we actually outnumber them by about 4:1, however they are very loud, where as nice people would prefer to be more, well... nice. it might not seem like it sometimes because everyone has their own struggles and problems, but we all care about you.

Yep, no worries! Thanks for playing, everyone. To those whose messages I deleted, I welcome you to our forums but I ask that you just approach us and our game with a little more kindness.

Never picked up on Drem. You could also say that Nova and Elegy could be considered queer.

Stavros (the skeleton) is male, and Gravis (the gum-alien) is non-binary.

Good catch on Drem— I didn't pick up on that!

I found Palisade's character quite an interesting one myself: So maternal, yet looking so powerful in a mix of both muscle and motherly attitude. Her embrace to Nova was specially a great visually striking moment.

Later on wrestling with Drem made me flashback on how she ripped Palisade's card and I had a strange hunch that Drem was Palisade freed from The Center's influence. I was a bit sad to be mistaken about it specially due to the last second stinger in the credits expecting that twist!

Both Palisade and Drem are to me the greatest characters in the game and their design is absolutely on point with their way of life.

Maybe it's obvious, but "Elegy Beatty" = LGBT
