Where to mine for sand

Hello,

I am having a hard time finding sand to make glass. would anyone be able to assist me with mining location for sand?

I presume that is connected to the glass mod. Sand location somewhat depends on which version of the mod you are using and whether it is a new or old game. For a new save, sand is a drop from a number of blocks in most deserts (I can't remember if the colony world ones are included). Otherwise, there should be caves in the deserts that have a high sand density. the 'ore' looks exactly like the sand tiles, so mine the tiles and you should find some readily.

Thanks so much squirleybob. direction helps a lot :-). Will also check which mod I'm using as well. (Would have also helped if I read your notes in the mod ;-)
