Does multiple farmer bots speed up harvest?

High-tech parts are pretty premium right now, but I have a massive farm island for making resources to sell. Does multiple bots speed up harvesting?

Also, something is wrong with the rice field, its height it way higher than it needs to be and forces you to build like 4 ladders high before you can move platforms across the top of it. =/

As far as I know then more farmer bots only speed up farming speed as long as there are a shortage of work force...
Meaning that things take the time that they take so it's only a question of figuring out how many bots it takes to collect something....
Tip :
As far as I remember then the bot collected stuff is transported to storage automatically when picked up by the bots so to control distribution of the bots I then had the bots climb a certain platform and then afterwards removed the latter and thus limiting/controlling the service area for the bot...

Anyone figured out if there's an optimum number of farming bots per resource? I've been working on 1 bot per 3 farms.

I don't know , but obviously how often the Pen / Farm needs to be serviced + how long time it takes to service the Farm/Pen matters... And for crops also fertilizer must matter...
So more things are in play .

I have 2 rice, wheat, sugar and cotton, 1 orchid, 1 pumpkin farm, 4 cows and 2 chickens all on one island. I have 3 farmer bots and stuff is staying @ max growth for awhile before it finally gets harvested.

I currently have 3 farmer bots and could probably do with a fourth. Hmmm
