Gameplay time
How long does this game take to complete? Got 4 hours out of the demo so far and i'm keen to get the full version :)

It depends on your play-style, I've seen players rush the quests and complete the game within 10 hours, and some players take over 100 hours, setting up farms and settlements and exploring every path/side quest/secret area. The full version is about 5 times the length of the demo, so that can give you a good estimate.

If it helps, the average time (across all players) is 28 hours.

Play time depends on how much you roam around..
I think that I played the demo for more than 20 hours before buying the game (it's a really great demo)( https://steamcommunity.com/app/876650/discussions/0/1744469078236667173/#c1796278072825981132 )
And I have played the game for more than 113 hours without finishing the game - but then again I like to explore more than to focus on finishing the game... But you probably shouldn't expect more than maximum half of that play-time if you want to focus only on finishing the game...

Wanted to ask that too. Are there any randomized elements?Any replayability?

Some parts are randomized - like the ore and cave placements, but the story and quests are the same each play through. There are two paths (magic and science), along with side quests and secrets, so that adds some replay-ability, and we have a lot of mods if you want to change things up even more!

Thank you very much David for the quick response! :)

I usually rush through the initial stuff on the starting planet (about 4 hours, I think), then start building up a resource base before going elsewhere.
