Hey david, can you go on the Aground Wiki, and at the bottom of the Item List page, there is the blueprint catagory. Can you update it, atleast with only the names of the blueprints? So I can know how many there are.

How do I collect a pearl? I just can figure that out. Pearls should be dropped by clams which are located in water "maze" where are ship parts, right? Torpedoes don't work due to fire effect I guess. So what did I miss? Is there another type of ammo for submarine? :)

Luck. You just have to keep killing oysters until you get lucky.

Can the newgrounds-exclusive tank be rebuilt or made on other islands? Also, will there be a way for them to see in the dark?
David Maletz  [developer] Aug 12, 2018 @ 9:18am
The tank can't be build or made without cheats, although there will eventually be a way to fly or ferry vehicles in larger vehicles, which will let you get it to other islands. Maybe if I add an upgrade to the tank, it could have a light source, but given that it's an exclusive vehicle and not a buildable vehicle, I probably wont add upgrades for it (although, if I add a normal tank to the game, it'll be able to use the normal tank upgrades).

just go into the Golem factory with a plant chainsaw.
If you box the golemech in, it won't bother you and there are always 3 grey golems to fight.
they respawn endlessly and drop diamonds most of the time.

BTW: while the droprate of Titanium is negligible, it still adds up quickly when farming there

and with the uncrafting option in the Ice building on magic island, you can turn 1 Diamond into 5 Quartz ( so no more silicone problems)

Maybe you could add an option to store vehicles in the Fighter Escort. It should be large enough.

Speaking of which: are there plans to be able to fly the Escort on the planet akin to the Jet? because that would be awesome and useful for ferrying stuff around
David Maletz  [developer] Aug 13, 2018 @ 10:38am
The fighter escort's cargo bay is only 4x1 tiles, so not big enough for vehicles... although we do have a concept for a cargo ship that WOULD be big enough to ferry your vehicles around once you unlock it. Spaceships will be able to fly like the jet, so they will be multi-purpose (not just for spaceflight).

I can't use the cyborg armor because I have to use the dragon armor to get up to the time thingy, because I hate mazes so much. Second time trying to go through the wyrm hive, second ragequit because my eyes started aching trying to read the map. :(

Oh, I guess that's not really a question... okay, any chance we'll get something to turn maze walls into rubble eventually? Or at least autopath through them to an exit we've already discovered?

You could build a jet like I did for that one purpose. You could also mark the mazes with placeable items (ie, place nets at dead end-paths, an Ice chest by the Time Island's exit).
Megan Aug 13, 2018 @ 2:40pm
Will prolly do the jet thing... marking the exits isn't the hard part, it's remembering how to get to them. I start to go crosseyed trying to distinguish the pink and purple.

And then there's the constant futile BRR BRR of the drill every time I run into a block...

You could unequip your drill once you're in there, if it's that annoying... But yeah, I don't really find that place a maze..not really, the dead ends are mostly right next to either one of the entrances/exits or at the edge of the map, which if you know you're at for example the right edge of the map, you know you're gonna be bumping into dead ends a lot if you go right, so the next entrance/exit is probably gonna be up or down.

I do agree that the 'maze' is a bit annoying to get through, and once you've been in there once or twice you're already willing to sacrifice a lot just to have a more convenient alternative

I just made an extra jet. Much less trouble.

Question: I saw this on the subreddit; are microtransactions seriously under consideration? :( I really hate microtransactions.

I feel I've already received value for money so I'm not hopping mad about it or anything, but I'll prolly lose interest fast if Aground moves to some kind of free-to-play model. I'd gladly buy genuine expansions and DLCs with significantly expanded content, more islands, more planets, more anything and everything, but microtransactions generally are almost the worst thing about modern games, coming in a close second behind loot boxes. I would never knowingly buy any game which has either.

I am not planning on adding any microtransactions at this time (I don't like them either, and I feel like it usually means sacrificing gameplay for money, unless it's something silly like a hat). It's been suggested several times - including by players who want the full game for free, but I've always rejected the suggestion (and at this point, it's really too late to switch to a free to play model anyways).

I am considering adding DLC to the game after the full release, but that will be extra gameplay campaigns, modes, islands, etc, not the original game campaign and story, as I want the game to be complete without any DLC (I mentioned this briefly in our roadmap: https://steamcommunity.com/app/876650/discussions/0/1744469130471927220/ ).
