Where can I find scale fish?

Search the oceans near the quest giver/structure that need the scale fish.

if you look around the fish settlement off the coast of the second magic island, you should find them. i usually just move up to the surface and back a few times and run into some before too long. it's the big purple fish that attacks with tentacles from it's mouth.
