Dragon Ship vs Escort Ship (contains spoilers)

I prefer the Dragon Ship because:
Double Storage
Can build all mini workstations inside it
Can build teleporter and power core inside
Everything on the go.

Is there something I'm missing on the escort ship? Because I find the dragon ship way more convenient. I just feed it coal.

The main benefit of the escort ship is that you don't have to feed it - with 3 power cores, you have a good power recharge rate and can fire/shield without worry. If you have tons of resources or a good production chain, the dragon ship is definitely better stat wise.
