Cant capture a wyrm

Hello,

I am on the 2nd island. I've been trying to capture some wyrms for the quest but for the life of me I cant. I've used over 35 nets so far, it always says broken instantly. And i've gotten them down to around 10% hp while trying to capture. Is this a bug? Any help would be really appreciated!

You're talking about the normal wyrms (the ones available on both the starting island and the magic island), right? I can consistently catch them with a net even at 66% health, at 10% hp, unless you're really unlucky, it should be a very high chance to catch them. The fact that it's breaking instantly makes me think you're trying to catch something that the net is too weak to catch (like the dangerous/weird wyrms deep underground on magic island).

Could it be that by 2nd island you mean Sunset Haven? Where the hotel is? (west of the starting island) Because the mecha wryms that spawn there can't be caught. You can make them at the operating table though. But that won't give the achievement (if by quest you meant achievement).

The only quests that involve catching wryms (as far as i know) are one on the starting island and one on the Eastern Island. Maybe you are trying to catch the leech wryms? Those aren't that deep. I'm not sure if those are capturable.

Thank you for the wonderful replies. It appears that I was attempting to capture the spiky wyrms lol. As you can imagine, this didn't work and at the time i thought it was the only wyrm in the game! I tried relentlessly to captupture those little devils. Then I cam across another island.. With normal wyrms, and I captured them! ALL OF THEM. lol <3
