Anyway to make a powerplant?

I build a upgraded hut on the starting island but i can't figure out a way to make a power plant. Is it not released into the game or something?

Powerplant blueprints will be in the next update, but you can also use generators to power your hut (craft them at the upgraded factory).

For the record, the generators need to be touching any buildings you want powered.

yeah through the progress i found that out, thankfully you can turn it on and off when needed

You can use cables to connect generators to distant structures in the beta (and the power plant blueprints are in the beta)... which means it won't be too long before they're in the stable release!

How do you get the blueprints?

at some point when you've been at science island, and you go back to the starter island and save in the hut the merchant will mention about upgrading the island to technology too, i think once you've fought/negotiated with the scientist and go back to their daughter, you'll ask her about upgrading your starter island

No, the powerplant blueprint.

yeah but the powerplant blueprints is not in the game *yet*, so you need the upgraded factory to make a generator

There's also a Nuclear Plant upgrade, but it ONLY works with Uranium. I don't think it has any benefits at all (please prove me wrong) over the original Power Plant.

the batteries are cheaper
