Aground
OpenGL 20 not compatable with graphics driver
OpenGL 20 not supported by my graphics driver error won't allow me to open the newly purchased Aground. Windows10, Intel Q35 Express Chipset Family, how do I fix this? Was able to play the demo fine through Kongregate... thanks!

Hmm, it looks like that graphics card (the Q35 chipset comes with the Intel GMA 3100 integrated card) only supports OpenGL 1.4, which is below Aground's minimum requirements. You could try updating the graphics card driver here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81513/Graphics-Drivers-for-Intel-Q35-Express-Chipset , but I think it's unlikely it will work.
No good, no updates are available... Can I just get a new graphics card? How hard is that??

Right now, your computer is using the integrated graphics card on the CPU, so you don't have (or it's not using) a dedicated graphics card at all. If it's a desktop computer, it's possible to install a graphics card (a few notebook computers let you install one too), and almost all dedicated graphics cards released in the past ~15 years support Opengl 2.0. Graphics cards will tell you what version of OpenGL they support, and if you're unsure, you can just ask me, I can easily look it up.

As for difficulty, I wouldn't call it too difficult and there are a lot of guides on how to do it, but it can be nerve-wracking if it's your first time opening a computer, and there are also many restrictions on what cards can work with your computer that you should look into before you get one.
It is a desktop, would this one work: ATI radeon 2400 pro 256 MB
And install in a Dell Optiplex 755... Utube makes the physical installation look pretty easy, as long as it's compatable.

It's and old and not very powerful card, but the Radeon 2400 Pro supports OpenGL 2.0 and should run the game (the performance will be similar to the Intel HD integrated or GeForce 9400M, both of which I've tested the game on and get occasional, but not game breaking lag). It also looks like it's compatible with the Dell OptiPlex 755.
Thanks for the assist, I'll give it a go!

If you got a desktop PC and like to play computer games then you will do yourself a favor if you buy a cheap good add-on graphics card. The kind that your board can support you ought to get very cheap for a very good second hand one...
You should check what your board supports , but from what I have been able to assess from what I have read here then your board only supports PCI-E 1.1 x16 .
Previously there appear to have been compatibility issues with PCI-E 2.0 for some people on some boards but that appears to be fixable with a BIOS upgrade from the board manufacturer , ref. : https://www.overclock.net/the-final-answer-to-the-controversial-pcie-x16-version-compatibility/ (About BIOS upgrades :: do not do that if you are not completely aware of what you are doing as it may render your PC useless if it fails)
Anyway , a used suitable graphics card ought not set you back very many smackeroonies and if you do not know how to do it yourself you should ask someone knowledgeable about PC upgrades...
You could also ask in dedicated hardware forums about what people think is best graphics card upgrade for your PC , but if it is not cheap then forget it . The generation age of your board is so old that if upgrade is not cheap then you are better of upgrading your PC - which you in my opinion should do if you have the money. I mean seriously ! , I am not kidding , I picked up a *whole desktop PC* in functional state from a goodwill thrift shop for the equivalent of around $ 17 the other day, and that PC had Intel Core 2 6300 CPU, which as far as I can see is at least one CPU generation newer than what you have.
So for not very much you could pick up a whole secondhand PC that is a lot better for most likely very little if you can not afford a new one... (your Steam profile says that your location is Santa Rosa, California, United States, where there ought be no shortage of cheap fully functional secondhand hardware)
Of course it is none of my business what PC you prefer to use or why. Also , seriously , I have many computers same age or a lot older than yours only because I find it hard to part with all my old hardware *AND* because I want something to run old M.S. OS' and old games on (like DOS, Win 3.11 , Win 95 , Win 98 and Win XP) , but also have some hardware that is varying degree of better.
Anyway , have a very nice day and enjoy your game(s)..
