I've been playing since the CBT myself.
I'll brush quickly on your disadvantages.
1), What do you mean by new paths? I'm not sure if you're referring to the path breakthrough, or something else.
2), I agree that some more advertising would be beneficial, but hey! Here we are, on Steam. It should bring us some new recruits.
3), I know, Gold Bots are irritating, but they're dealt with very fast by support. I agree, having them dealt with more promptly would be fantastic. But also, people not reporting them doesn't help the case. When they're reported, they look into how they're getting into the game and it gives them more information to further stop it.
4), Actually, they do care about every community member equally. It has nothing to do with the business model of the game. They do look into all player aspects and attempt to bring boosts for the free players like the Colosseum, for instance. A company just can't hand out a lump sum of free stuff to boost. But the free players are always in mind. A happy community makes for a great play experience.
I hope what I have wrote will shed a little insight on this.
Once again, thank you for the constructive feedback.
Cheers,
Mitsuru
