How does one justify the $15 price tag?

On mobile, the game is free to play. To unlock basic content, you have to spend around $8. The special tribes included brings that to $16. Makes sense for a game that obviously needs support to run, but for the PC version, why is everything double the price? You don't get anything in return except for being able to play on a bigger screen. I don't even think it justifies the "I want to support the devs" argument. Paying more money for a game with no new content is ridiculous.

Same game, why should there be any new content?

That being said, the being free to play and paying 16 euros for the rest argument is sensible.

We're paying 15 on PC, and we still have to pay for the skins and the special tribes on top of this.

weird, regional prices make it equivalent to 7-8 USD converted to PHP

I have to also ask this OP. I play this on my cellphone occasionally and I noticed it had a PC release, it's kept me from getting it on PC that I'd be better off buying all the DLC on my phone for the price rather than paying way more for it all on the PC (Each DLC is actually cheaper in £ on the phone than it is on the PC).

I don't imagine it takes anything wildly special to justify the price tag on Steam. I'd say it'd be much better if all they included all the base-game factions and the skin DLCs with them and we only had to pay for the "Special factions" (Which unironically... I kind of feel for them being more expensive on Steam than the phone they should be double-packs or somit.)

It's really upsetting because I do genuinely like this game but it's very difficult to justify the price tag for the game in my mind,
