They wouldn't be the worlds 1st in game security... they just forgot to mention the 1st in causing compatibility issues, missing to automatical selfupdate and being annoying in general.
It seems this time there is even no cache directory to kill or update file to manually execute *clap*.
So how do we fix it nowadays?
I found some thread mentioning to disable the virtualization option for the CPU in BIOS:
http://forum.webzen.com/forum/en/mu-legend-english/mu-legend-english-forum/bugs-issues/2311022-game-hack-detected-100-false-message/page2
But I am refusing to accept this as a solution. I'd rather uninstall and forget the game.
I have virtualization on for a reason... good lord man. DRM of this magnitude is silly.
DRM has got nothing to do with it... It's a problem with the anti-cheat software that they use. nProtect GameGuard. It basically detects processes used every day for a lot of things as hacks and just let the actual hacks pass through the system.. It's a horrible software, one that is hated by the majority of online gamers, especially here in the west.
